Vice President Han Zheng Meets with UN General Assembly President Francis
On January 30, 2024, Vice President Han Zheng met with Francis, President of the 78th United Nations General Assembly, in Beijing. During the meeting, Han Zheng emphasized China’s commitment to true multilateralism and the safeguarding of the authority and status of the United Nations as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
President Xi Jinping’s proposal of building a community with a shared future for mankind and various global development initiatives were highlighted by Han Zheng.
