LIGNANO. Intervention by the Coast Guard of Grado on Monday afternoon, June 28, off the coast of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
From a boat carrying some Venetians on board, the alarm went off to rescuers after one of the passengers, a 15-year-old boy, fell ill. The Coast Guard patrol boat immediately left at the point indicated in the call. On board were the Sogit 118 health workers.
Once on board the boat, the doctors gave the boy the first attention. Stabilized, the young man was transferred to the patrol boat which quickly reached the Torpediniere pier in Grado.
A previously alerted ambulance was waiting for the young man and transported him to the emergency room of the Monfalcone hospital.
The operation took place with extreme speed. On the conditions of the boy maximum confidentiality but would not be in danger of life.
