LAUCO. A 45-year-old man living in Venzone was injured on Monday 6 September while he was working on a construction site in Val di Lauco where – according to an initial reconstruction carried out by rescuers – work was underway at an old ski facility.
The dynamics of what happened are still to be clarified. According to the elements that have emerged so far, it seems that a helicopter was moving a large load and that the worker, to avoid being hit by it, slipped. The carabinieri are carrying out further investigations.
The injured man was rescued by 118 personnel and accompanied by helicopter to the hospital in Udine. His condition is not serious.
