The place where the accident occurred
The road accident occurred between the two level crossings of Via Piave in Castelfranco: the cyclist lost consciousness after the collision and was transported by helicopter to the Treviso hospital. It is not life threatening: the local police officers are dealing with the case
CASTELFRANCO. Road accident, in the afternoon, shortly after 4 pm, in via Piave, in Castelfranco. A 71-year-old cyclist, BB, was seriously injured after being hit by a car. The driver, however, did not stop after the collision and continued his race towards Treville.
Now the agents of the local police of Castelfranco, who intervened at the scene of the accident, are giving the hunt for the pirate car of which, the cyclist, who immediately lost consciousness after the impact, was unable to provide details.
In the meantime, the helicopter rescue service intervened at the scene of the accident and transported the injured person to the Treviso hospital. It is not life threateningdespite a serious polytrauma.
