TREVISO. The penalty of one thousand euros in case of resignation were not enough, a pizza chef hired in a Treviso restaurant also had to undergo grueling shifts – 12 hours a day with an unpaid half-hour break – despite being hired on call.

A series of contractual irregularities, one after the other, reported by a Treviso worker and challenged by the CGIL, which is now negotiating with the company to eliminate, first of all, the penalty of one thousand euros.
