A man was killed by a car last night as he was leaving Villa Borghese, in the center of Rome.


The accident occurred on Via Pinciana around 9.30pm. Local police patrols from the II Parioli Group are on site. On board the car was a 26-year-old Romanian boy, who was taken to hospital for the usual tests on possible alcohol and drug use.


Local police officers are working to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and ascertain the identity of the victim who was without documents and was wearing sports clothing.
