Sinsheim. After his last-minute equalizer in TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig, Andrej Kramaric sees good chances for the Kraichgauer team in the fight for an international starting place. “This point is very important for us. We have to go full throttle, get three points in Darmstadt and then we can make it to Europe,” said the Croatian.

TSG has 40 points after 32 games, which most likely will not be enough to qualify for the European Cup. That’s why Kramaric is calling for more consistency in the final stretch of the Bundesliga season. “We have to stay grounded because it’s not enough to be good two or three times. We always have to show it,” said the 32-year-old.
TSG coach Pellegrino Matarazzo made similar comments before the final tasks against the newly promoted team in Darmstadt and against record champions FC Bayern Munich. “If we want to achieve our goals, we have to keep showing performances like this in the last two games,” said Matarazzo after the strong performance against Leipzig.
For defense chief Florian Grillitsch it was “one of the better performances of the season.” Now it’s about not showing a bad game anymore. “There are still two games left, we want to get everything out of them and then we’ll see what happens in the end,” said the Austrian. dpa
