Holger Bonin: “Stop using Germany as a role model”

The German economist Holger Bonin has been scientific director of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna for six months. The OÖNachrichten met him for an interview. OÖNachrichten: Austria is in stagflation for the first time in 50 years. The economy is stagnating and inflation is high. How do we get out of this? Holger Bonin: We’re slowly coming out of it again. According to our forecast, the inflation rate will fall to 3.9 percent. You get out of stagnation because
