An unusual case occurred this Sunday afternoon in the El Pezote canton, in the jurisdiction of El Congo, Santa Ana, where an elderly adult was run over by a horse that was used in a ribbon race.
The man was identified as Leopoldo Salazar Peñate, 69 years old, who suffered injuries to different parts of his body and whose case is being investigated to verify that there was no negligence on the part of the rider, and that it was truly an accident.
