Yesterday was a hell of a day for the rescuers. Already on Wednesday evening around 21.20 the alarm went off for a couple of French mountaineers, she 30 and 27 years old, in difficulty returning from the Grande delle Cinque Torri, in Cortina. The two were abseiling when, about 60 meters above the ground, the ropes were stuck and they were stuck in the wall. A team from the Cortina Alpine Rescue and the Carabinieri descended from above, reached the knot and freed the ropes.

At 10 am yesterday, however, the manager of the Tissi Refuge in Alleghe was contacted by two climbers: one of the two had been injured after a flight on the face and both were no longer able to continue. The two were on Civetta, in correspondence with the Ledge of Miracle under Punta Tissi, at 2,900 meters above sea level, and the 31-year-old climber had suffered a probable injury to his ankle. The injured person and his partner were recovered in two rotations with the winch by the helicopter rescue technician. The helicopter then flew to the Agordo hospital.

Half an hour later there was an intervention, also in Agordino, for the Schio base jumper who died in the flight from Framont. After midday, the helicopter ambulance was sent to Cortina, along the Ferrata Dibona al Cristallo, for a couple of hikers who, lost their orientation, had left the track and ended up on treacherous terrain, at 2,600 meters above sea level, unable to move . Identified by the helicopter, the two, 30 years old from Spain and 31 years from Romania, were recovered with the winch and transported downstream.

In the afternoon, two other interventions for the Alpine Rescue of Alleghe following falls from pedal assisted bikes. At 2.30 pm on the Pian dei Sec track a cyclist ended up on the ground, possibly suffering a trauma to her wrist. Retrieved by jeep, the 62-year-old woman from Rome, who was with her husband, was transported to the ambulance, which stopped for another alarm in the area.
