In Bogotá, a high flow of vehicles circulates daily, with motorcycles being a significant part of this panorama. According to the Single National Transit Registry (Runt), Approximately 620,000 motorcycles circulate through the city daily. This figure reveals an increase of 282,697 motorcycles compared to 2021.
The accident figures for motorcyclists are not the best, according to data from the Ministry of Mobility. In 2023, 230 road deaths were recorded, which represents an increase in 59% compared to the figures recorded in 2019.
For this reason, the Ministry of Mobility announced the opening of a free course aimed at all motorcyclists in the country’s capital. The objective is for drivers to strengthen their technical skills to circulate on the roads, thus contributing to the prevention of road accidents.
