A new space available to the entire Rirasaldense community was presented yesterday at the facilities of the SENA Sectional Pereira. This is IdeAgro, an initiative that seeks to promote ideas and new ventures through creative stimulation. During the presentation of this space, its main objective was known, which is to promote entrepreneurial capacity, applying technological and didactic tools. In this way, instructors, apprentices, farmers, entrepreneurs, the academy or anyone who has an idea can approach this center for guidance and materialization of it.
With an investment of $223 million, this space is equipped with the technology necessary for ideation, including tablets, computers and games. According to Carlos Palacios, regional director of SENA Risaralda, this inauguration represents an opportunity to “generate ideas and begin to turn them into reality.” Right now we have very specific populations, farmers, popular economy, people who normally do not come to the entity without complementary training and who often bring many ideas in their heads,” he indicated.
In addition, Luz Andrea Montoya, deputy director of the Agricultural Sector Attention Center, highlighted that the creation of this center responds to the need to maintain continuity in the SENA route. This trajectory begins with the conception of an idea, moves on to the next phase which is the Tecnopark, and culminates with the corresponding financing (Emprender Fund): “IdeAgro arises from the idea of two of our instructors from the Agricultural Sector Care Center, the “Whoever imagines this idea, develops a project, expresses their idea and takes SENNOVA to the general management and they approve the resources to make this a reality.”
And he added: “There are the necessary tools for these people to empower themselves and develop their idea. It will be open because SENA is a State entity, it is a public entity, we are here for that.”

Olga Rocío Alfonso, instructor and researcher at SENA Regional Risaralda of the Agricultural Sector Attention Center, explained what the methodology to work with in this new space will be: “There are three moments in this space, a moment where we say the disruptive, of warming up the mind, which is represented by the color orange. In that orange color, we are going to do mental exercises that allow us to take the interested person to the color yellow, which is the second moment where we go through brainstorming and some tools, to generate ideas around a case. ; an opportunity or challenge that is placed. Ideas are generated to move on to the third moment, which is the moment of the selection of the idea and the initial prototyping of that idea, which is the gray space represented by that color, where the person can already see it captured in a Lego, for example. example, but an interactive Lego, his idea.”
