The Comfacauca Puerto Tejada School has left an important mark in the educational and technological panorama, by successfully participating in the first Steam meeting, organized by Zona Franca del Cauca, within the framework of the LAB ZFC 4.0 program. This event, conceived with the objective of promoting Steam education and encouraging sustainable development in the region, has been an invaluable space for the exchange of knowledge and the creation of meaningful relationships between various actors in the student community.

The ZFC 4.0 LAB, started in 2021 by Zona Franca del Cauca, was created as a bastion of innovation by promoting the development of skills in the critical and responsible use of analog and digital technologies. This program, which provides access to 4.0 technologies and promotes the generation and transfer of knowledge, has been fundamental in stimulating creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in the region.

Comfacauca School has been a pioneer in this process, in which it involved a select group of students in learning activities and creation of projects with 4.0 technology. As part of the event, participants had the opportunity to exhibit their projects and test their skills in 4.0 technology programming competitions.

In the contest, three students from the Comfacauca Puerto Tejada School shone with their own light in this first Steam meeting of the LAB ZFC 4.0. Mariana Arias Balanta, Miguel Ángel Pérez and Benjamín Sánchez, were the winners in the programming category in Lego Mindstormsthus demonstrating the talent and dedication that characterize the educational community of this campus.
