Authorities from the Cesar department led a Security Council and Public Order Committee in El Copey to address and take measures against recent disturbances of public order that have affected the tranquility of the community.

After evaluations, it was agreed to increase the foot force with the incorporation of 14 new police officers and the assignment of 3 additional patrols to improve security and mobility in the urban area.

The meeting also determined the constant presence of Colonel Álvarezoperational commander of the Police, to lead the investigation into the alleged presence of the Gulf Clan in the area.
