The debts of the remainder of the Chocó indigenous education contracts of 2023 will be paid with resource deficits that the department has in the National Territorial Pension Fund, Fonpet.
The disbursement of the first 24,628 million pesos will be made no later than April 30, 2024.
And Governor Nubia Carolina Cury will request Fonpet for a new savings of six billion pesos to finish canceling adult education contracts valid for 2023, with source 2022, establishing June 12, 2024 as the review date.
This was established in the agreement between the government of Chocó and the Minga Indígena that allowed the lifting of the protest and the blockade of the facilities of the government and the Ministry of Education.
In relation to the demands for school infrastructure and expansion of the teaching staff, it was agreed to hold negotiation tables on June 15 and 16.
