Karachi (Staff Reporter) Regarding the stability of the country’s economy, IPO Summit 2024 was held at a local hotel in Karachi on Saturday, in which a large number of people associated with the capital market, including the Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, participated and presented suggestions. . The summit was held with the partnership of National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited and Pakistan Stock Exchange. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of National Clearing Muhammad Luqman said that through IPOs, it has become easier for the corporate sector of Pakistan to increase its capital and obtain capital. He said that NCCPL along with PSX has an important role in facilitating access to capital through IPOs, automation of all processes will facilitate capital gains for the corporate sector. He said that the process of onboarding investors has been completed in UIN as well, due to which the joint ventures with NCCPL, CDC and PSX can not only raise their capital but also Small investors can also participate in IPOs through their mobile phones sitting at home. COO Imran Ahmad Khan and others said that the state should involve everyone in decision making for the development of the country. IP Stalls of many companies related to the capital market were also set up in O Summit.
