Islamabad: Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that January 14, 2024 was a painful day for the human conscience. It was the 100th day of Israelā€™s war against Palestine, which has claimed more than 24,000 lives in Gaza. It is increasing with each passing day. In the weekly briefing, he said that the series of atrocities by Israel should end, the international community should play its role to protect the Palestinian people from barbaric acts.

He also mentioned the massacres carried out by the Indian forces in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir during January 1990 in which around 100 people were martyred. Paying tribute to the martyrs of the massacre and demanding action against those responsible, the spokesman reiterated that Pakistan is committed to the Kashmiri brothers for a just and peaceful solution to the Jammu and Kashmir conflict as per the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. And will continue to support the sisters politically, diplomatically and morally.
