Abu Mazen spokesman, ‘an assault’

(ANSA) – TEL AVIV, APRIL 15 – The toll of Palestinian demonstrators injured in violent clashes with the Israeli police on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on the second Friday of Ramadan prayers has risen to about 150. The Palestinian media reported that the Red Crescent has set up a field hospital inside the Esplanade. Nabil Abu Rudeina – spokesman for President Abu Mazen – denounced the “assault” by the Israeli police on the Al-Aqsa Mosque as “a dangerous development and a declaration of war on the Palestinian people”.
