This Tuesday, before the match of the fourth day of group D of the Copa Libertadores at the Monumental stadium in Lima, a confrontation took place between Junior de Barranquilla fans and Peruvian Police agents.

The fight broke out when the police demanded the removal of the fans’ flags. In the midst of the altercation, a number of fans were beaten, while others were evicted from the stadium.

Although no official statement has been issued about the incident, ‘La U’ fans recorded the events and shared their versions. «Fight between the Junior fans and the PNP, the reason was the removal of banners. “Junior’s fans were ordered to leave the stadium,” wrote a fan of ‘Los Cremas’ on the social network uniformed men using bobbins while Junior’s followers tried to protect their badges
