Kaifeng City’s symposium on studying and implementing Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts was held
Kaifeng City recently hosted a symposium focused on studying and implementing Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts. The event aimed to fully implement the spirit of the national and province-wide symposium on studying and implementing Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts, exchange learning experiences, deepen ideological understanding, and promote the study of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts.
The symposium, which took place on January 12, was attended by Lu Zhijun, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, who delivered a keynote speech.
The meeting emphasized that Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought is the cultural chapter of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It is seen as a theoretical summary of the practical experience of party leadership cultural construction in the new era, and a major achievement of the “two combinations”.
The symposium also highlighted the significance of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts in providing fundamental guidance for the development of socialist cultural undertakings, stressing the need to accurately grasp the current situation of the city’s cultural industry and leveraging advantages while making up for shortcomings.
Additionally, attendees were urged to pay close attention to the implementation of work and to conduct in-depth and practical study and implementation of the “Kaifeng Practice” of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts. The meeting stressed the importance of transforming learning results into concrete measures to serve the people, and transforming them into practical actions to be a pioneer in the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Henan.
Shao Hua, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the meeting, with responsible comrades from various relevant departments and representatives of experts and scholars in attendance.
The symposium was seen as a significant step in promoting the study and implementation of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts, and in deepening the understanding and application of these cultural principles in the ongoing development of Kaifeng City.
