Eleven years ago he killed a thief and now he leaves prison to go to work in the family workshop. It is the new life of Mirco Franzoni, the 40-year-old who in December 2013 shot and killed a thief who hours earlier had entered his brother’s house in Serle, in the Brescia area. According to the Giornale di Brescia, a few days ago Franzoni obtained the green light for external work and in the morning he leaves the Verziano prison and then returns once the shift is finished. In 2019, the Supreme Court confirmed the sentence of 9 years and 4 months for voluntary manslaughter despite the fact that the Brescia native has always maintained that he shot the thief, 26-year-old Albanian Eduard Ndoj, after a fight in the street.
The 40-year-old had been in prison since October 10, 2019.
