Landslide in the night: the Agordina road closed, it reopens for commuters only between 1pm and 2.30pm

The traffic of light vehicles has been diverted to the Mis valley, while heavy vehicles traveling between Agordo and Belluno are forced to go around the Zoldo valley

BELLUNO. The safety restoration operations along the Agordina are longer than expected, especially for the checks on the overhanging rock walls, after two large boulders fell during the night. But to prevent the traffic from going completely haywire, a return “window” will be guaranteed at the end of the morning: the road will be reopened in both directions from 1pm to 2.30pm

The rockfall, for a total volume of about one cubic meter, occurred around 3 am between La Pissa and La Stanga. Given the lack of security on the slope, the men from Veneto roads decided to close the regional road to check for the presence of other unsafe boulders and the tightness of the safety nets.
