Ernesto Tessaro lost control of his car which invaded the other lane, a broken femur for the other driver
CESIOMAGGIORE. The car swerves, invades the opposite lane and the dramatic head-on collision. An accident that cost the life of 24 year old Ernesto Tessaro from Soranzen, while the other driver involved, a foreigner residing in the Feltrino area, suffered injuries that required hospitalization in the orthopedics department of the Belluno hospital. The incident occurred yesterday at 4.40 when it was still dark. The crash occurred in Molinello, at kilometer 3 of the Sp1 Madonna del Piave, in the stretch in the municipality of Borgo Valbelluna. The young Cesiolino lost his life on the spot.
Ernesto was probably on his way home after an evening spent with friends. An incorrect maneuver, or perhaps a fall asleep and his Alfa Mito invades the other lane when exiting a curve, where at that moment a Volkswagen Golf driven by a Moroccan citizen is arriving who cannot avoid the very violent frontal impact . The two vehicles bear heavy impact marks.
Rescue is triggered with the ambulance sent by the emergency room of the Feltre hospital, the firefighters of the Feltre decommissioning and the carabinieri who send two patrols from the Santa Giustina and Borgo Valbelluna stations. The situation appears to the rescuers in all its drama. The firefighters carefully extract the occupants of the two cars and unfortunately we realize that Tessaro does not respond to the demands of the sanitary staff. All attempts were useless. The driver of the Volkswagen Golf is in pain, but conscious, who is loaded into the ambulance and transferred to the hospital in Belluno, where, after being visited in the emergency room, he is then admitted to the orthopedics ward. For him it was ascertained the fracture of a femur in addition to the polytrauma caused by the carom.
The dynamics of the impact seem quite clear: it is Ernesto Tessaro’s Alfa Romeo Mito that skids, invading the other lane. At the exit of the treatment, his car went on a tangent, apparently out of control. This is why sleep deprivation is a hypothesis that is seriously considered. The vehicles have been impounded and now it will be up to the magistrate in charge to decide whether to be satisfied with the external inspection of the body or to arrange the autopsy to have more detailed results on the causes of death and to be able to assess the causes of the impact.
Ernesto Tessaro leaves a sister and uncles Carmen and Gianni with whom he lived in Soranzen, and the rest of the family, including his parents, in Argentina, from where he left for Cesiomaggiore ten years ago.
