Kabul like Saigon, the war is not over for the Afghans

I was four when Saigon fell, so I don’t remember anything of what happened. I consider myself lucky, considering that many Vietnamese who survived the end of that war were severely and indelibly traumatized. The fall of the American-backed South Vietnamese regime began in my hometown, Ban Me Thuot, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, in March 1975.
