General elections are coming, meetings, processions, rallies, loud slogans and claims of political parties are going on. New tactics and experience are being used to get the attention of the simple people. Songs and anthems are being launched in praise of their respective leaders, the youth has really gained centrality. There are rumors that now the consciousness of the people of Pakistan has been awakened, but the problem is that every party and group has its own standard of consciousness and noise. It has often been seen that one person’s consciousness is just noise for another. The situation is such that no one can bear to believe anyone else. A culture of intolerance has turned political opposition into personal rivalries. If you look at it from one side, then the writ of “I don’t believe” has brought the followers of an apolitical leader sitting on the Himalayas of stubbornness and ego into a dark alley. Those who do not have any reason to move forward or turn back are just slowly sinking into the darkness. We remember in the last elections when the slogan of new Pakistan was given, at first everything seemed new and then many such announcements which time proved to be a mirage and we remained where we had started the journey, but many of them were in the roundabout way. They got lost and left the old one while making new Pakistan. It is important to note that the workers of each party are still sticking to their word with very little difference. This is more or less the case of all religious and political parties and we take the name of democracy. There are good elections. The future will be determined by going through this election phase
