Lignano, beach offices ready for the first tourists: towards a season without limitations

LIGNANO. Sunbed, umbrella and colorful cocktail by the sea. From Saturday 30 April the beach of Lignano officially opens and all the operators can’t wait.

“The first weeks are always the most beautiful, when we can welcome our customers who we have not seen for a year”, explains Giorgio Ardito of the Lignano Pineta Company, and in this case it will be a perhaps even more awaited return. “Let’s start again from the 2019 offer – explains Emanuele Rodeano of Lisagest – with the possibility of removing the limitations”.

Everything is ready, then in Lignano Sabbiadoro to welcome the first tourists who will enjoy their first days on the beach. “Open offices, lifeguards, lifeguards, umbrellas, play nets and games for children”, in Sabbiadoro all this will be available starting – formally – from 10 in the morning.

«Shows and sporting activities will return – explains Rodeano -. There will also be entertainment on the beach with different physical configurations. We will not build an arena but we will set up smaller spaces, while the arena will be set up inside Getur where the Beach soccer and Beach Basket challenges will be held and much more ». For Rodeano this is a year of waiting. “Only in 2023 – he underlines – will the concessions be renewed and only then will it be possible to provide for structural investments, with the possibility of an important improvement in the whole area”.

In Lignano Pineta the last details are fixed. «We are still arranging some rescue towers, walkways and some chairs and umbrellas – explains Ardito -. Plant 5, the one with the Swiss flag, has been modernized. There will be new tiles, doors and sinks in the bathrooms. “

Another initiative, which will give a further touch of color to the summer, will be the presence of the stylized sun, symbol of Pineta, made with the color orange, on the rescue skates.

«Everything is ready for the Fun Village too, while in the next few days the stage will be set up in Piazza Marcello D’Olivo. The entertainment, in fact, during the day will be concentrated between offices three and four, and in the evening it moves to the square ”, adds the president. “We have 500 new umbrellas and 500 new sunbeds that are also easier to adjust, while in the VIP area the mats and boxes for charging the phones are on their way.

Most likely, those who come to visit us from the first day will notice some small dunes that we keep as protection in case of sudden storms »concludes Ardito.

Even in Lignano Riviera there is no shortage of guests. Renzo Pozzo della Sil (Società Imprese Lignano) confirms that everything has been prepared and that «this year the ethnic area has been enlarged. Usually it could be found near the Kursaal, but it will also extend to bathroom no. 2. An area where the umbrellas are not made of fabric », but with a white fringing that has a tendency to recall a Caribbean atmosphere.

Last year they were a brownish color, this year the dominant color will be white with matching beds. «The wi-fi on the beach has been improved and the bathrooms of all the beach offices have been arranged. For seasonal workers, tokens will be made available for a hot shower ».
