Another hellish day on the Liguria motorways due to construction sites to renovate tunnels and viaducts. In particular, it was a black Monday in the A10 with travel times of up to 73 minutes to get from Savona to Arenzano, compared to 20 with the road free from construction sites. It is as if you traveled 63 kilometers more, compared to 24 real ones.
The critical issues had already been announced and Autostrade has activated the construction sites in view of the closure in the period between Easter and 8 May, to favor the holidays and Euroflora, the great fair scheduled in Genoa from 23 April to 8 June. The decision was shared with the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility and territorial institutions, but the tension between travelers and protests are many, also because it is a situation that has been dragging on for at least two years and that in recent weeks has worsened with further and closures right on the A10.
After the chef Alessandro Borghese it was Paola Marella, architect and TV presenter, who expressed her frustration via social media. And Flavio Briatore also thunders: “For 40 minutes we have been stuck on the motorway near Savona. It is a scandal. This situation has been going on for two and a half years.
