TREVISO. Our LILT experience with Ukrainian children. The first step towards Kiev dates back to 2011. We are talking about the one done by LILT Treviso towards the Pediatric Oncology Hospital of Kiev, the country’s reference center for the treatment of pediatric cancers, a center sadly illuminated by the international spotlight, due to the close historical connection between the rate of childhood cancers and the Chernobyl nuclear tragedy, which for decades has reverberated its disastrous effects on the Ukrainian population.
