LINAFOOT Play Off: Mazembe beats Don Bosco and consolidates his first place

TP Mazembe consolidated its first place in the ranking of the Play-Offs of the National Football League (LINAFOOT), by beating CS Don Bosco (1-0), this Sunday, March 17, at the Kamalondo stadium, in Lubumbashi. It is part of the match on the 4th day of this competition.

The only goal of the match was scored by Patient Mwamba (16th minute) after some laborious work from Oscar Kabwit. Thanks to this victory, Mazembe remains leader in the standings with 10 points. Don Bosco, for its part, remains at the bottom of the ranking with just one point.

Despite numerous opportunities, the Ravens were not able to materialize all the actions created throughout this meeting.

“There are things to say about the content of this match. There was a lot of clumsiness and lack of concentration for my players. What I saw was not good…Of course it was a bad day, because they tried everything,” analyzed Lamine Ndiaye at the end of the meeting.

The pace of TPM matches in March is simply merciless. Sunday March 17, the Ravens played a 5th match in less than two weeks.

Just after this match against the Salesians, TP Mazembe will have almost two weeks to prepare for the quarter-final of the Champions League against Petro Atlético de Luanda. The opportunity to breathe and recover.
