What is the Fund for the Promotion of Arts, Culture and Innovation? The cultural policy covered by the Organic Law on Culture establishes the Fund for the Promotion of Arts, Culture and Innovation, whose purpose is to generate favorable conditions for the development of artistic creation, the production and circulation of cultural goods and services and creative, through the allocation of non-reimbursable resources to creators, producers and cultural managers, through public tenders.
What is the line of promotion of Social Memory and Cultural Heritage? The Line for the Promotion of Social Memory and Cultural Heritage is a line of financing from the Fund for the Promotion of Arts, Culture and Innovation whose purpose is to encourage research, promotion and dissemination of social memory and heritage culture, in accordance with the provisions of article 113 literal (f) of the Organic Law of Culture.
The line for the Promotion of Social Memory and Cultural Heritage is administered by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage.
What are the sublines of the Line for the Promotion of Social Memory and Cultural Heritage? The Line for the promotion of Social Memory and Cultural Heritage is implemented under the following axes or sublines:
1.- Research on social memory and heritage; 2.- Implementation of conservation, maintenance, restoration, inventory, cataloging, museography, equipment, enhancement, social use, education, training, training processes; and, 3.- Promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage and social memory.
What are the support modalities? Support modalities are established for each subline of Promotion of Social Memory and Heritage, in accordance with the approved Operational Promotion Plan.
What are the technical bases? It is the document that describes the conditions of the public calls for each promotion modality: its objectives, amounts and requirements that applicants must meet; as well as the stages of the beneficiary application and selection process.
The categories: community historical archives, with a total of 10 proposals to be financed and the amount to be financed of 15,000 dollars each; community libraries with a total of 10 funding proposals and a funding amount of $15,000 each; and, finally, community museums with a total of 10 proposals to finance and an amount to finance of USD 15,000 each.
