In different communities of the municipality of El Litoral del San Juan, there has been a strong impact on their pancoger crops, due to a plague of cockroaches entering their plants and destroying them.
This occurs especially in Chinese potato, plantain, banana and primitive crops, leaving the inhabitants of the area without sustenance from their food.
The communities ask for help from Umata, Ica, the government and the Ministry of Agriculture, and all entities that have to do with the control and eradication of pests.
