Liu Xinyun actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners for a long time

According to incomplete statistics from Minghui.com, from January 2000 to 2004 alone, Qiugu Labor Camp in Zibo City illegally detained more than 300 Falun Gong practitioners. These practitioners were violently brainwashed, forced to “transform”, not allowed to sleep, beaten, and beaten. Electric batons, electric shocks, etc.; as of the end of December 2004, more than 400 practitioners had been abducted to the “610” brainwashing class, and were subjected to violent brainwashing, mental torture, and physical torture; during this time, 19 local Falun Gong practitioners were illegally sentenced , 9 people were persecuted to death, 3 people were missing during the persecution, and 6 people were persecuted with mental disorders.
During Liu Xinyun’s tenure as Director of the Public Security Bureau and Party Secretary of Heze City, Shandong Province, according to incomplete statistics, at least one person in Heze City was persecuted to death, two were missing, 36 people were illegally sentenced, and 26 people were illegally re-education through labor.
During Liu Xinyun’s tenure as Director of the Public Security Bureau and Party Secretary in Jinan City, Shandong Province, eight Falun Gong practitioners were kidnapped and sentenced illegally at the same time.
Since December 2014, when Liu Xinyun was transferred to the post of Director of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and Director of the National Network and Information Security Information Center, he participated in illegal monitoring of Falun Gong practitioners and dissidents, blocked and filtered international and domestic truth information, controlled public opinion, and slandered and framed. Three people were harassed, forced brainwashed, two people were forcibly displaced, and two people died from persecution. They are still illegally detained and face more than 50 illegal sentences.
The report also stated that according to investigations, Liu Xinyun worked with foreign companies during his tenure at the Ministry of Public Security, specializing in network blocking, public security big data and face recognition. At that time, many prosperous areas of Taiyuan, such as the Liuxiang commercial district, were equipped with high-definition cameras at every intersection, and they were equipped with face recognition functions.
