The municipal project ends with the lesson of the yellow flames together with the anti-drug dogs

LOIRI PORTO SAN PAOLO. A civic education lesson with the local police officers of Loiri Porto San Paolo and the Financial Police of Olbia, in the unusual role of teachers. The municipal project, welcomed with enthusiasm by the young pupils, began on Monday 24 May and will end tomorrow 27.

The children of the fifth grade of Loiri inaugurated the initiative. The local police, led by the commander Giuseppe Serra, showed the young students the operation of the telelaser for speed detection, illustrating the correct behaviors to keep driving cars and motorcycles.

The lesson took place in the field and during the morning the local police stopped the passing cars and checked the correctness of the documents. Even the pupils, whom the agents had to try on the bulletproof vest supplied, did their part: together with the teachers they had prepared some cards with the words “Here the car cannot park. Fine”, who have placed cars parked in no parking spaces on the windshield, with the wheels on the pedestrian crossing or outside the stall.

Today the experience was repeated with the students of the fifth grade of Porto San Paolo, while tomorrow the protagonists of the civic education project will be the pupils of the eighth grade of Porto San Paolo.

The lesson will take place with the men of the canine unit of the Guardia di Finanza, led by captain Carlo Lazzari. The military will take their four-legged colleagues with them to show the kids how drug searches work and will give a lecture on drugs, the consequences of drug use. They will also illustrate the prevention and repression of the crimes they carry out on a daily basis.
