On Easter morning, two young people from Loria were rescued after ending up in a ditch in via San Martino with a BMW 4 Series Cabrio. On site the helicopter rescue of the Suem of Treviso, the firefighters of Castelfranco and the traffic police.
LORIA. They lost control of the car along via San Martino, between Loria and the hamlet of Marangona. The sporty convertible driven by a local youth ended up in a channel and his friend, in the passenger seat, got stuck.
The frightening incident took place around 10 on Easter morning. The firefighters of Castelfranco, the doctors of Suem and the Traffic Police of Treviso, a detachment of Vittorio Veneto, intervened on the spot. The helicopter rescue service also got up from the Treviso hospital.
The twenty-one-year-old MM driver, born in 2000, was taken to the hospital in Castelfranco in moderate conditions. The worst was the passenger, ME, 28 years old, born in 1993, who immediately after the impact of the car with a jumper, on the right side, got stuck. The young man, also from Loria, was transported by helicopter to the Ca ‘Foncello hospital in Treviso. He has suffered several traumas, to the chest, head and pelvis, but is not life threatening.
The dynamics of the accident are being examined by the Traffic Police, to verify whether the leakage of the BMW, a white 4 Series Convertible that is rented and has a foreign license plate, was caused by excessive speed. The driver, who was practically unharmed, will in all probability be subjected to the alcohol test.
To disengage the vehicle it was also necessary to use a mobile crane, circulation was therefore forbidden, in both directions of travel, until the end of the recovery operations. Also on site was the councilor of the municipality of Loria, Valter Pettenon.
