Directed by Gerard Johnstone, the film generated strong curiosity and discussion, so much so that it quickly gained approval for a sequel, the details of which are currently still unknown. The actress plays the very young protagonist Cady Jamesorphan of both parents following a tragic accident who ends up interfacing with a rather particular nanny: her name is M3GAN and she is an android created in the laboratory by her aunt.

M3GAN, Violet McGraw will return in the sequel film?
Per M3GAN 2.0 a new horror adventure is promised, but will it also include Violet McGraw in the cast? There plot from the first film introduced a rather dangerous doll, now without brakes, who decides to take control of her actions by clearly disobeying the orders imposed. Megan crosses very specific boundaries and becomes a ruthless killing machine willing to stain her hands with blood several times, initially for protection against Cady. Gemma is responsible for her creation, as Megan is an android created in a laboratory and entrusted to her niece Cady to take care of her, supporting families in difficulty who need concrete help with their children. Cady lost her parents and her aunt Gemma isn’t exactly inclined to take care of her, not in the way she deserves. For this reason she takes the opportunity to make a career by taking advantage of that situation that came at the right time and testing the Megan doll firsthand. Unfortunately, the situation gets out of hand and all that remains of the guide doll is a distant memory. The second chapter will report Allison Williams, interpreter of Gemma, back on the big screen and dealing with the killer doll who will return to torment her. The cast of the sequel will also include Amie Donald e Jenna Davis, who lends her voice to Megan in the original cast. What will become of Violet McGraw? I’m very excited to make the film. I’m literally dying to know what’s going to happen.
Director Gerard Johnstone will also return behind the camera for the sequel which has already set an expected release date for January 2025. According to the manufacturer Ryan Tuker to the microphones of Deadline, everything goes as planned for the second chapter. In fact he stated:
M3GAN 2 is in development. We haven’t started filming or anything. We’re aiming for a January release date [2025].
