Raffaele Imperiale, considered one of the greatest European drug traffickers and number 2 on the Italian wanted list, was reportedly arrested in Dubai. The news, still without official confirmation, was released by the Dutch newspaper ‘De Telegraaf’ which cites the investigative authorities of the country, where Imperiale is at the center of leading investigations. According to the newspaper, it is likely that the capture took place as part of a joint European operation and that for this reason the announcement has been delayed.
