A large number of inhabitants of the towns near the Falcón – Zulia highway, especially in the towns of Mitare, Pedregal and Urumaco, took to the road to greet opposition leader María Corina Machado on her route.

Machado left this Thursday from the state of Falcón towards Zulia, where this afternoon he will lead a massive event in the city of Maracaibo.

The leader, who is on a tour throughout the country to urge Venezuelans to vote for the unitary presidential candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, got off at some points on the road to greet the citizens who welcomed her with applause.

In Urumaco, Machado got into a truck to give a speech to the people gathered on the side of the road and invite them to vote on July 28.

On Wednesday May 1, Machado visited Tucacas and Yaracal, in the state of Falcón, where she was received by a crowd with whom she talked and hugged those who came to greet her or express their support.

“This fight that we are fighting above all is a spiritual fight, and God is with us, in our hand, and we are going to unite all of Venezuela,” said Machado.

The entry María Corina Machado received support from residents near the Falcón-Zulia highway was first published in EL NACIONAL.
