Maria Filippone, deputy mayor of Naples and councilor with responsibility for education, died. She was 68 years old. The carreer
After graduating with 110 cum laude in classical literature at the Federico II University of Naples, he taught Latin and Greek for many years, first at the Imbriani classical high school in Pomigliano d’Arco and then at the Genovesi classical high school in Naples. During the years of teaching she took care of the training of teachers for a long time, collaborating with the Cidi of Naples and with the Neapolitan universities, she was co-author of Rizzoli school books dedicated to the learning of Latin grammar and syntax, she held for many years the position as vice president, and participated in the television series produced by Rai and hosted by Michele Mirabella Amor Roma. She was the winner of the competition for school manager, since 2007 she has been dean of the Marie Curie Technical Technological Institute, subsequently of the Antonio Genovesi humanistic center and of the Jacopo Sannazaro classical high school in Naples and has held positions on behalf of the Campania Regional School Office.
