The mayor of Codazzi, Hernán Baquero, is at the Laura Daniela clinic in Valledupar after suffering an accident aboard his Toyota truck with license plate LMX-249, which he himself was driving.
It was learned that the road accident occurred a couple of hours ago near the roundabout of the new road that leads from the municipality of La Paz to the capital of Cesar.
Traveling with the president was his wife and two minor children, who suffered multiple injuries.
It was also established that one of Baquero’s sons suffered major injuries and would be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
The causes of the accident are unknown at this time.
In this regard, the governor of Cesar, Elvia Milena Sanjuán, spoke through her account on X.
