Milei describes Petro as a “murderous communist”

In an interview with journalist Ángela Patricia Janiot, the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, did not spare strong words when referring to the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, whom he defined as a “murderous communist.”

During the dialogue with Janiot, the Argentine president expressed his opinion about various international leaders and also about former Argentine leaders. However, it was his comment about Petro that generated attention and controversy.

«Murderous communist who is sinking Colombia“were Milei’s words when asked about his perception of Gustavo Petro.

The interview has generated mixed reactions in public opinion, with some supporting Milei’s words and others criticizing him for his strong and direct language. Petro, for his part, has not yet responded to the Argentine president’s comments.

In said interview, the Argentine president defined former President Donald Trump as “one of the leaders of freedom against global socialism.”

About Gabriel Boric he said that he is “someone who has the wrong ideas from my point of view.”

Regarding Nayib Bukele, he said: “someone who, despite adversity, managed to carry out his government program.”

In the interview, Milei spoke about several topics, including his most recent trip to Davos and his participation in the important forum, where his speech was one of the most followed.

“In the world there is a base of socialist ideas in different formats and that translates into a set of economic policy measures that, far from contributing to the general well-being, will mean that the West is getting worse and worse,” said Milei.
