“The heinous murder of the boy Benjamin Achimeir is a serious crime,” Netanyahu declared. “The military and Shin Bet are conducting an extensive search for the despicable killers and anyone who collaborated with them.” According to the army, the boy was “killed in a terrorist attack”.

14-year-old Benjamin Achimeir, son of settlers, was found dead near the Malachi Hashalom settlement in the Ramallah region. He went missing there on Friday while grazing a flock of sheep.

After Achimeir’s disappearance, settlers attacked Palestinian residents. A raid on a neighboring Palestinian village left one dead and 25 injured. Also on Saturday, according to eyewitnesses and Palestinian media, violence broke out again between settlers and Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territory.
