Mobilization in Ukraine – Transcarpathian TCC explained why drivers are removed from flights

A scandal broke out in Ukraine due to the fact that TCC employees mobilize truck drivers immediately after entering Ukraine, removing them directly from flights. The Zakarpattia OTCC and SP explained this practice.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

“Drivers of cargo vehicles are the same citizens of Ukraine as others. During the examination of documents at checkpoints, it is not always possible to check all military registration data on the spot, this is due to the fact that citizens did not take care of having military registration documents with them in advance. In such cases, conscripts are offered to go to the territorial recruitment and social support centers to clarify the data. At the same time, we emphasize that the truck remains under the supervision of representatives of law enforcement agencies. If a citizen believes that he is not subject to mobilization, then he needs to have with him the relevant military registration documents with marks confirming his legal rights to postponement provided for in Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, or with a mark on removal from military registration. Or a document on a properly executed reservation”says the message.

The TCC emphasized that the “Shlyah” system has nothing to do with military accounting.

“Finally, we remind you that there is a full-scale aggression against our state, and we can win only by uniting and directing all our efforts to the fight. We urge citizens to independently and timely update their military registration data”— reported in the TCC.
