A resident of Feuchtwangen came home just in time that evening – a cable on her washing machine caught fire. The resident was able to extinguish the burning cable herself before the fire brigade arrived. Luckily there was no major damage. The emergency services ventilated the property and checked whether there was also a fire elsewhere, but apparently only the cable from the washing machine was destroyed.
