MINGA PORÍ (police) teenager tried to help his neighbor during the fire in his house, when he suffered an electrocution. He was taken to a hospital, but arrived without signs of life.

A 14-year-old teenager tried to help control a house fire, but a cable came loose and fell on him, causing death by electrocution. The tragic episode occurred yesterday in the Hugua’i indigenous community in the district of Minga Porã, department of Alto Paraná.

The victim was identified as Dismar Mendoza Rojas (14), residing near the scene of the incident. The agents of the 25th Deputy Commissioner arrived at the site and found the humble home completely incinerated.

The neighbors told the interveners that Dismar went to a neighbor’s house to try to help put out the fire. However, he had the misfortune that an electricity cable came loose and fell on him.

After the incident, the residents helped the minor and took him to the Minga Porã Health Center, where he unfortunately arrived without vital signs.
