MONSERRATO. With the complicity of a friend, he allegedly burned the car of his ex-wife’s new partner for reasons of jealousy. The Monserrato carabinieri arrived at this conviction after the investigations on the complaint presented by the injured party. The soldiers deferred a worker from Capoterra, already burdened by previous complaints, and a 46-year-old housewife from Cagliari for damage to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cagliari in a state of freedom.
The motive for the arson was to cause pecuniary damage to a 48-year-old worker from Quartucciu, as the companion of the former spouse of the alleged perpetrator of the retaliation. It would therefore be a question of a motive attributable to jealousy. The carabinieri arrived at the solution of the case starting from the suspicions of the victim and with the help of the video surveillance systems of the Municipality, present in the area. (L.on)
