Montanaro, home robbery with a cutter, arrested 21 years old

The carabinieri are looking for the accomplice. The owner of the house had been tied up and threatened. Loot of 11 thousand euros

MONTANARO. The validation of the arrest of Sebastian Enache, 21, of Romanian origin, suspected of being one of the two perpetrators of the robbery that took place last Monday morning against a housewife from Montanaro, is held on Thursday 14 in front of the investigating judge of the Court of Ivrea. The woman, Linda P, 38, was alone in the house when the two robbers threatened her with a knife and then beat her to open the safe which contained about 11,000 euros in cash. The man, a guest of a Montanaro family, had been intercepted by the Chivasso carabinieri, while he was trying to escape by taxi. With him he had a credit card owned by a Novara man who had reported the theft. After a brief confrontation, the man was recognized by Linda P. who had noticed a scar on his right eyebrow and the clothes he was wearing: a leather jacket, trousers with side pockets and a hat. The charges for him are of robbery and receiving stolen goods. Now the carabinieri are looking for an accomplice. Linda P. had had to seek the care of the doctors in the Chivasso emergency room. She was then discharged with a prognosis of 15 days.
