After the occurrence of the danger, the emergency rescue team of the Engineering Rescue Center of the Emergency Management Department (China Aneng) urgently mobilized 158 engineering rescue personnel and 39 sets of large-scale equipment to the scene. The tactics of “blocking and closing the dragon, preventing seepage and keeping the air closed” were immediately put into emergency rescue.
Under the guidance of the expert group, rescuers actively widened the approach road on the left side of the embankment, reinforced the embankment on the right side simultaneously, and used emergency power pontoons to transport large engineering vehicles to the opposite bank of the breach, and fully promoted two-way operations. Improved rescue efficiency. In the meantime, rescuers tried every means to slow down the flow of water from scouring the dam.
