In total, more than 950,000 secondary school finalists are taking the dissertation this Monday, May 6 in the DRC for the 2024 edition of the State Exam (Exetat). Statistics from the Ministry of Primary, Secondary and Vocational Education (EPST).
The Exetat 2024 off-session was launched with the traditional dissertation test.
Candidates are spread across 2,959 exam centers across the country.
In addition, there are 13 other examination centers located abroad including Luanda and Kabinda in Angola, Kampala in Uganda, Kigali in Rwanda, Bujumbura in Burundi, and Kigoma in Tanzania.
After the dissertation, the candidates will take oral French on Wednesday May 8 as well as the practical tests which will last until next week.
The ordinary session of the Exetat (the famous “4 days”) will take place from Monday June 24 to Thursday June 27.
