Aziz Akhannouch, Prime Minister, revealed the disbursement of the first payments of the direct social support program, announcing that these efforts were directed to families that meet the conditions for benefiting, as one million and four thousand and four hundred families benefited with a financial cover exceeding 524 million dirhams.
In his speech during the government council meeting, Akhannouch confirmed that the process achieved great success, as the number of applications submitted through the electronic portal www.asd.ma reached about 2.9 million applications.
The Prime Minister explained that more than 64% of the applications are related to monthly grants for school and non-school children, while more than 34% of them include applications for partial assistance and 273 applications for a maternity grant.
He also stressed that families who submitted their applications after December 10 of last year will receive two monthly payments at the end of this month, stressing the continuation of opportunities to submit applications for support in the future, which reflects a commitment to providing the necessary support to the most needy economic groups within the framework of implementing the state program. The social foundations of which were established by the country’s leader, King Mohammed VI.
