by admin

Soldiers from the Titan Joint Task Force, with support from the Colombian Navy, located and destroyed two Improvised Explosive Devices – AEI, type anti-personnel mine, near the indigenous community of San Cristóbal, Potedó district, Litoral de San Juan municipality.

Expert personnel destroyed the antipersonnel mines in a controlled manner, which each contained approximately 1.5 kilograms of explosives, apparently pentolite type. According to preliminary information, these would have been installed 35 centimeters deep, presumably by members of the ELN.

Please remember that, if you find any strange element around homes, or in rural areas, you must keep your distance and immediately notify the authorities to control the emergency.
